I found an iPod Nano.

Best thing I've ever found. But it's a bit annoying that you can't adjust the volume when in a menu, and iTunes is utterly gay.

EDIT: Anything but the Shuffle. Other mp3 devices are available.

Can you stick any music on your computer onto an ipod?

OK, I have an iRiver

that allows you to drag and drop the files you want onto the memory, and you can arrange the files in whatever folders you want.

But with my iTunes and the iPod, it automatically synchronises with playlists in iTunes, which is very tedious, and for some inexplicable reason, some of my songs are in there three times. I guess it takes some getting used to, but I prefer the way the iRiver allows you to arrange files.

You can turn auto synchronisation off in the preferences

So that you can only update what folders/files you choose.

I have a Nano... they are ok, but the battery life is a bit crap. I probably wouldn't buy another one when this eventually dies.

I just loved them for their tinyness.
