Does anyone know why when I type a href="www.lemony.co.uk/optimisation" (only with the addition of the pointy brackets) the gremlins put a load of gumpf before the address?

removing the link and rewriting it with http://(addresshere) as if you do the www. (without http)
b3ta has a knack of likning to b3ta again
