My uncle drove Lada's for years, and they NEVER broke down. Not once, not even a backfire. the only reason he stopped was his kids were getting to the age when they would rather walk to school, than be seen getting out of it. Little bastards... at least they got a lift.. we had to walk for miles... in the snow.... barefoot...

we had one... mind you, the damn thing could do 110 flat out, and we often did that just to piss off the local boy racers, because as we passed them, it took them a few seconds to realise they had been passed by a skoda, and by the time they realised, we was long gone :-)
And the traffic branch used one, although it had a race prepped engine good for 140, and caught more than one person out....
