WellImage Ready and Animation Shop both handle AVI don't they? And there's loads of MPEGing software out on the DVD-'home backup' sites - but converting from MealPlayer to any other format always causes a loss in overall quality 'cause it's such a lossy format to begin with.

no i knowi used premiere and i have several codecs and output options but i really don't know how to combine them all into getting the best quality/file size.
