# CHEERS

ashally a good chunk of that was spent transcribing the instrumental parts for this..
unfortunately I left the music at home this morning, so I've been making the sequence from memory!

Just adding in the vocals, tricky rhythms.. and I'm sure some of the drum part's wrong.

# That is top stuff!
I occasionally have a 'hack' on my piano, and it is fun to create music.

I like the file. It sounds as though you're following in the footsteps of the Finn brothers/Split Enz?

# Ugh.

Please, don't mention them.. you guys can have 'em, as far as I'm concerned!

No, it's a Franz Ferdinand song which I want to use on my phone. The only midi sequences I found on the web were for "Take Me Out" and "Do You Want To?", and they were kinda shitty.. also lacking vocal parts.

edit: also the tab versions I found of "What You Meant" were way off.

I use www.anvilstudio.com/ - which I think is bloody neat, for a freebie, and doesn't need any external equipment.
If I had a PC myself I'd buy the full version.

edit: okay, there's the melody.. guess I'll figure out what I got wrong when I get home.

# Oops
I won't mention them . In the words of Austin Powers, "They're not my bag..."

Thanks for the weblink - *bookmarks

# I quite like the song "Pineapple Head".

But I was and still am more of a Flying Nun/Wildside sort of a person.

particularly in the 80s-90s (i.e. contemporary to Finns, Crowded House &c.).

Wildside was/is an Auckland-based label, mostly more hardcore stuff like Hallelujah Picassos and Head Like A Hole.
