# Sorry,
thought you were being a Nazi :(
I thought it was 200k. *waddles off to /talk*

# so, can you optimise it or link it then?
(, Mon 30 Oct 2006, 13:20, archived)
# Done, sah.
How come the limit changed? I'm not too bothered, just curious, as I'm sure the majority of people would be able to download any reasonable size of image quickly nowadays?

# the limit has always been 50kb for still images
(, Mon 30 Oct 2006, 13:25, archived)
# The guideline has been
that still images rarely need to be over 50k. Exceptions to this are more often overlooked by mods than by board Nazis.

# it's always been 50k
it's 250k for animations
(just because the majority can, doesn't mean we should ignore those who can't, and don't forget those people on capped connections)

and ta for linking it

# o i c
sorry again!

# Some of us still have dial-up...
I only got breadboard broadband a month or so ago...

200k for animation, I think, and 50k for stills.

EDIT: 250k / 50k. Bah. The memory, it fades with age...
