Arthur Dent and Marvin the Paranoid Androidattending a military weapons fair. Marvin has for once risen above his usual dread apathy to the level of extreme boredom by interfacing with smart missiles and reprogramming them to disable their engines and instead use public transport to deliver their payloads.
Arthur is initially shocked by the near-nude female models that are draping themselves over tanks and wandering around with big guns and grenades and whatnot, and his embarrassment at seeing such depravity has him averting his eyes and scuttling off towards the refreshment hall muttering something about getting himself a nice cup of tea.
