senseYou need to look, or listen, taste, etc, three or four times, then the message changes, and you can now do one of the things you couldn't do before. This happens a lot, everytime you use the infinite improbability drive IIRC. It's a really really really really hard game. Took me something like seven years to finish, on and off.
