The problem with compulsory DNA tests...Is that it renders the resulting nation-wide database pointless - all a rapist would have to do is pick a random pube out of a hotel plughole and stuff it up their victim's minge to cause chaos.
DNA profiling can only work when it is used to back-up valid suspicions or circumstantial evidence.
