I remember hearing that an episode was censored

because the script read "oh sod it, the bloody door's stuck". Don't know how much truth there is in that.

They admitted that they worked to a script with lots of swear words

but performed it on penny-whistles so it was unintelligible.

And I'm fairly sure it was wossname himself saying it in a Radio 4 interview, so it may be true.
