his argument is that 'b3tan' is too phonetically close to 'beaten' and sounds defeatist, but 'the b3tans' and 'I'm a b3tan' sound far superior to 'I'm a b3tard' - you might as well add 'LOLROFL!!!111one' to the end of it.
