several ways...photoshop and imageready, paintshop pro and animpro, or the way i did crabby - MSPaint and a freeware MS Gif Animator I found somewhere on the interweb. Had to draw each frame on a 'storyboard', then save each frame as an individual image for that. The B3ta train was done the same way, and took quite some time!
