The QOTWthing works when people think the suggestion is good. Last week's challenge was suggested this way, and the amount of support it received was huge. So it got used, and other people still complained - and I doubt there is a challenge that'd keep everyone happy. Which is fine.

Ok, Im going to pretend to be a mature adult and drop thisI think your right that you are always going to have people irritated with the compo but changing the way it is done may be impractical.
