
there are no 'limits' as such, however, for a normal still image, it probably doesn't have to be any bigger than 50KB.
You shouldn't post anything bigger than 250KB - even with super-fast broadband, the board would still be a pain in the ass if there were 30 megs worth of images to download on each refresh.
If you can't bring yourself to make your pictures or animations smaller, then post a thumbnail on the board and link to the full version.
