dubbed live action looks and sounds comical because of the lip syncbut animation is easier to dub because the mouths
move less realistically, you can basically bend them to say what you like
if you know what i mean
although the worst anime dub i've ever seen was Beast Warriors
translated and recorded by fans of the jap version
it's full of dodgy east london accents
very funny
