
i am still so retarded with photosop. using it for years but in such a basic way. see if i scanned it in i'd have no idea of how to effectively extract the line drawing. i assume you colour on a layer behind it.

it's just ink doodle scanned as a mono bitmap
yeah, I use layers underneath a copy of the original doodle
I convert it to colour and select colour range on the white to delete out any white
then I just use a bunch of layers, paint in what I want as whatever colour, then I do a layer on top of that for the black shading, and blur it a bit and fiddle with opacity for the layer, do the same with the white shading.. and then repeat until done, I'm a photoshop n00b I just use the basic features
there's probably a much more clever way to do it, but like, too much effort to learn how to do it properly and all that :D
