osx stretches it for me, but a 1440 x 900 version would be great!(at least, I assume that this is the screen dimensions = it's listed as the 'resolution').

Well I made it 900 in height,But it is a bit smaller then 1440 in width, I think it will be fine if you just center it and use a black background.
