But there's no way it would get picked.
It doesn't contain a celebrity, animal, or incredibly specific action to be carried out.
However, I think it's a novel idea, the only problem would be people scrambling for all the major talents.
I'm sure HappyToast would have more gaz's than he could read in a lifetime...

the referential compos always wind up with a lot of "me too!" pics where people feel compelled to faceswap or headswap because they don't really connect with the subject of the compo. i figured it would be more liberating to alow people to free associate and work from their strengths - and collaboration is just damned fun.
as for 'major talents' - hell, i think most people here have strengths. sure there are some who deliver knockouts regularly, but i'm as fond of the posts that show original thought and creativity without archetypally beautiful results.

Some days I can be bored by a lot of posts coming out with a lot of technique but that just don't hit me as well as original pieces of work.
Unfortunately, I realised today that you never see the terrific arty pieces on the front page.
It's all about the humour, but still also about the technique. Which means some people who are gifted with art but choose not to put puns into every picture they do aren't as recognised as others.
Same the other way around. Someone might have limited resources, do a HILARIOUS paintmash, and it will be swept under the carpet.
Tis a darn shame

no art talent and the sense of humour of a vinegar log.
