new layer"
3: copy from the background and paste on top as new layer
4: play around with feathered erasers until it looks fine
5: you may have to also toy with the colours and extra layers set on 50% or less opacity which you can change on the "dialogslayers" screen
fuck's sake. sorry.
edit: for the love of god what's going on with this? i tried to give you a guide to face-swapping anyway but i'm being a total fucking cretin today. ask someone with more skills than me...

sorry for abuse, i've been irritatingly twattish on here the last few days. anyway the quick summary is to put the new face in a layer sandwiched by the old one, punch holes in the top layer over the eyes to help size and rotate the new face and then trim back for a bit to get things ok. play around wtih colours and extra layers with grading opacity to blend in the faces. i've got the art skills of a syphilitic parrot but i'm more or less ok at face-swapping. (it's also easier dropping the final result to black and white, or my favourite is some kind of sepia, because it hides any number of seams.)
