Hmm, weird.It's happened with the last two updates, never before, but it ONLY happens when there is an update ready.
What usually happens is the CSS starts to go weird, then images don't load but the CSS comes back, then it just locks up, and as I restart it, it says "Update waiting to be installed" or whatever.
Might just be because I'm using a shitty Mac.

(for what it's worth) it's never happened on my MacFirefox is very stable for me. Did you notice if CPU load goes to 100%? If so perhaps nasty JavaScript; and I use NoScript so might not suffer the same way (but I suffer in other ways).

I had to disable NoScript and Adblock because they were stopping FF from functioning basicallyIt was not cool.
