She had two yappy dogs that barked every time I came downstairs. Large framed pictures of all her dead dogs in the TV room and as they'd closed for the week previous I was the only person there!

that would've been an Association of Hotelliers and Hostel Owners conference in the middle of nowhere, and there'd have been loads of them who didn't know each other but were oddly linked in some way
