I tell you whathow about they don't make stuff using those plastics in the first place? Buying stuff for people at christmas is difficult and expensive enough as it is without searching for specialist hippy shops to buy people environmentally friendly and utterly boring presents. The consumer is always punished.

simple economicsas long as people buy the stuff, the companies sell it. you can't only blame the corps, the costumers themselves are responsible, too.
