you don't really need to know how many clicks you get, after all, if you get enough clicks, it goes on the popular page anywaywhen the 'friends' thing was introduced, there was a small error in that the amount of times a post was clicked was shown under the post in the friends section - quickly retracted.
It would just add to the whole 'clique' thing which people keep going on about. At the end of the day, if a post is good enough, it'll get clicked and go onto popular :)
of course, if you're really really lucky, it'll appear in a national newspaper, and then you can charge for it :)
