Funnily enough I met a real-life Stalinist last year
I didn't think people existed who actually believed in that maniac but apparently they do. He wasn't Russian, of course, nobody in Russia fondly remembers the Stalin era but he insists it was glorious and Stalin was a 'strong leader' (casually refusing to ignore the 12 million dead eastern Europeans.) He's from Liverpool though which explains a lot.
