i bought a scratchcard beforeand won £20. i took advantage of festive 2for1 offers in my local shop and managed to get 8 christmas presents, a tub of butter, 2 bars of chocolate, a bottle of dr. pepper and 20 fags. my little win is the only reason my mum isn't getting a fruit cake for christmas!

i always try to get my pressies bought2 weeks before christmas. people aren't last-minute shopping yet, so the stores are getting desperate, trying to outdo each other with offers. in a week, the prices will all shoot up again.
periodically, i will buy one present a week from summertime onwards, so i occasionally have an organised and stress-free christmas. it just isn't the same without the panic!
