# I don't know really
there's lots of arty stuff and that too. I'd love to see an arty compo one day - I realise other places have arty competitions, but:

a) other places have funny competitions, it's not like b3ta is alone in that and
b) I like b3ta. It's relatively friendly and people will give advice (even if it is in the form of flameage).
edited on c) 'funny' on b3ta sometimes has the effect of 'fucking repetitive after three days'. Arty stuff seems more about how people see something rather than them appealing to everyone else for a laugh

# whilst a and b are indupitably true
The advice on the image posting page "jokes are better than technique" is more what this place is about. Personally, I like jokes and technique.

# I've got nothing against the funny stuff
I quite like being able to say when someone sends me a link 'yep, already seen it, it came from b3ta' - but personally I feel there's a lot more to the site than just funny images. If there wasn't we wouldn't be able to have this conversation really, it'd just be hot or not with hummus.
