Like most people I usePhotoshop ( CS3 extended ) but I also use Corel Painter which is excellent. Do Wacom not give away corel painter essentials any more? I got that with my last tablet.

Not with my cheap oneI got just about the cheapest one available - I just got this art rage thing which ran for a couple of times, crashed hard, now refuses to start up. I have a voucher for a free download of something, so maybe I'll go check that out.

ah screw it. I'd not normally suggest itbut if you can't afford it then it's not a sale lost. Just download CS3 for the mac from a bit torrent tracker.
