I started customising my first guitar (A shitty Cort strat copy) about a year ago, but haven't found any paint for it yet, so it's still on hold.
I've pretty much got all the hardware, apart from for the cut off switch I want to add.

Real Fender.Only black-and-whites though. I know you can get a fake anywhere. A kid I know has an Epiphone Special made to look like an SG. And it's a piece of shit. He had it tuned to drop D, and when he tuned it back to normal for a project we were doing in shcool, one of the machine heads came off in his hand.
