# i like london
but having spent my youth there i have no desire to live and work there.

my sister does, she used the tube every day, and has done for the last twenty odd years, i don't know how she does it, but it's a bit like marmite i expect.

i do enjoy going back every now and then to see friends and catch up.

# I must admit
That when I was refurbing Brown's Hotel in Mayfair last year after a few months I was getting very, very sick of the run from Hammersmith to Green Park every morning on the tube. I'm really not happy with crowds and crush. I'm just a sociopath really and don't want filthy strangers rubbing up against me.
The fact of the matter is that there is no other way, to drive into Mayfair and park for 10 hours would be astronomical and you can't put those costs into your job tenders.
I agree that the tube can be horrific, but it is also the best transport system in the UK if not Europe ( Paris Metro is appalling but Moscow Metro is fantastic, just for the architecture )
I love the fact that with the tube you are rarely 15 minutes away from somewhere good in the capital. I just wish they would put the prices up to fuck off all the unwashed . ;)
That reminds me, I think I still have £30 on my oyster card.

# everything is gone oyster based
either that or you pay a fare twice as much as what it'd cost on oyster.

i think i have about £3 on my oyster card.

and pills are bad, m'kay. i've never really been a fan of the idea, which is why i've never taken them.
