# go for it - in the long run, it's still cheaper than petrol
I used to drive a petrol primera, 4 years ago - £40-50 a week back then to get a shade over 300 miles. I now drive a diesel (mainly) and get double the distance out of a full tank, and it costs me £60 to fill up
