# C4D.
Start with a plane (no pun intended) object. Fold it, make a couple of cuts and that's when I start running into problems.
It makes polygons in weird places and causes that moth-eaten appearance.

I'll work it out eventually.

# i tried something like this couple of years ago...
on Lightwave 5
but it looked like this ... so i made space with planets instead. It was much more easier.

# I'm thinking that
I need to start with the end object and unfold it, then reverse the anim.

Means starting all over again, and I'm inherently lazy. But good to know that I'm not the only one who's had problems with this sort of thing.

# yes, lazyness
why bother recreating the thing all over again, when you can make fun by adding semen on people faces. :)

# that's just cynical
but so, so true!
