Start with a plane (no pun intended) object. Fold it, make a couple of cuts and that's when I start running into problems.
It makes polygons in weird places and causes that moth-eaten appearance.
I'll work it out eventually.

I need to start with the end object and unfold it, then reverse the anim.
Means starting all over again, and I'm inherently lazy. But good to know that I'm not the only one who's had problems with this sort of thing.
