# What an utter faux-pas.
Do you have a grey Waffen-SS uniform? They're really nice.

# No because I would find it considerably dubious owning Nazi memorabilia.
And they weren't really sexy anyway, they just looked stupid with the big balloony trousers sticking out of the tight boots.

# I think they're really beautifully designed.
I wouldn't consider it dubious, but then the things I would consider to be are far removed from most other peoples' ideas on the subject.

Re: latex. Watercolours? You could get a nice effect on any reflections.

# I think they were showy and crap, and in many cases just looked pretty gay.
The actual combat uniforms were alright and just fairly standard green, but all the officer's wear just looked stupid.
WW2 RAF Blue on the other hand looked like they'd just wandered in from tea with vicar and was brilliant.

Haven't done watercolours in an age, never really liked them. I doubt I'm going to be drawing latex again anyway, unless someone commissions me to for either money or favours.

# I always found them to be a pig to work with.
I like a good strong gouache, but that's just personal preference.

Having looked at what I assume is what you're talking about, the hat looks a bit baggy to me. www.diggerhistory.info/images/uniforms4/RAF01_small.jpg

www.diggerhistory.info/images/uniforms4/Allgemeine-SS_small.jpg That's nice, but I'm not sure if he'd have silly trousers on as well.

# Just imagine it in blue.

I'll remember that your personal preference is for a strong gouaching, *tenuous joke*
