(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 10:04, archived)
# I hope to be there, but I can't be certain. I'll have a try :)
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 10:06, archived)
# well, t'will be a pleasure to see you if you do.
And bring earplugs, I'm turning it up to 4 tonight.

# That goes without saying...

# sweeet
gig tonight then?

Prepare delay pedals! all knobs set to 10.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 10:16, archived)
# If I set my delay to 10 it self oscillates into mechanical death noise...
Oh.... I see where you're coming from now... :)

gig indeed... I'm strangely excited about this one for no particular reason...

# heh nice.
we've got enough tracks to gig now, few more practices and we'll be out and about i think.

Got a DE7?
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 10:23, archived)
# DE7 - Ibanez thingy?
nope - mine's an ancient analogue delay from the 70s...

It sounds like the end of Karma Police when oscillating... :)

# I'm a total guitar geek...
don't fight it, embrace it.

# do you post on guitargeek.com?
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 10:48, archived)
# I do not...
Dare I combine guitar geekery AND internet geekery?
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 10:51, archived)
# heh
it's a pretty good site. Don't go there so much now that i'm happy with my rig.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 10:54, archived)
# Is that where you can see what rigs famous guitar types have?
I like that place a LOT...

But I'm happy with mine now, save for the absence of a looping pedal...
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 11:00, archived)
# Indeed, probably one of several tho.
I can heartily recommend the akai headrush e2. Really natural, easy to use, and it's a great delay and tape sim when it's not looping.
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 11:09, archived)
# That's EXACTLY what I want. Preferably two of them...
There just isn't space on my pedal board though...

Or in my bank balance...
(, Mon 23 Jun 2008, 11:14, archived)
# They are big, but they are top
great vfm imho. Akai pedals are always top. Got their phaser too which is good.
