It'd turn Doctor Who into a farcical comedy. Bailey can't do serious (which I'm quite glad for, as he's hilarious). There'd be no gravity to anything, and it'd be ruined.

# Right. Tennant, Eccleston, Baker, Baker, Mccoy, Hartnel, Troughton and Pertwee especially are/were all very gifted at acting with a bit of gravity
It's something that really hurt Davidson's popularity in the role, (the FAINTING.) and has basically been proven an essential part of playing the doctor.
