i hada physics teacher who could form his hand for the right hand rule but not the left. He had to use his other hand to put his fingers in position. There was nothing wrong with his hand, he was just really mal-coordinated. We mocked him for it.

he was the worst practical physist ever...managed to break not one but three of those vacuum flasks with the anode and cathode in so can show a circle of luminous electrons (can't remember the experiment name now, or why we did it).
he did it by mis-reading the voltage levels and putting the decimal point in the wrong place.... there was a nice arc and not much afterwards.....

aaah the theorist that tried to experimenttis probably Thompson's charge to mass ratio experiment. The only thing I managed to break in a physics experiment was a coke bottle...
