oh yeah i can totally fischer-price psychology it :)try this nightmare on for size then: i have recurring dreams where i'm in this big, dark victorian house, i've never seen the outside of the house and i'm never in the same room twice. there are three rooms that really stand out for me but i'll only describe one to you. i'm in a hall, a big dark, dark hall. the darkness is viscous and heavy, i'm holding an Indiana Jones style flaming torch but it only illuminates about a foot in any direction. in this big dark room are mannequins, hundreds of old mannequins with their limbs bent into odd, unnatural angles. each of the mannequins has a paper plate mask over its face and the paper plates have painted grotesque caricatures of everyone i know.
