Well, you are entitled to your opinion
of his work (I'm not a big fan myself) but he is perfectly entitled to post his stuff here since he did make it. He can, also, do whatever he wants with his own work - sell it, keep it or give it away.
I don't understand why you think he is spamming the board. I don't think JJ has ever reposted an image that I can recall. There are others who regularly repost the same tired old rubbish who seem to be tolerated.

On the contrary,
when others have tried just posting the web comic they write every single day they have been flamed.
If I want to read a webcomic then I go and read it.

Could you give an example?
A lot of people post copies of their web comics and are much appreciated. Fish tales (is that the name?) springs to mind. There are many others but I would have to spazz back as brain rot is setting in. JJ's contribution seems to appeal to a great many b3ta users so I guess that's why he carries on.
I missed your point about appreciating others work - yes, it's nice if people do comment but a lot do not and don't tend to get criticised. I don't think it detracts from someone's work that they choose not to join in the (sometimes excessive) chit, chat that goes on.
