I have been on there and into the fort. It's a very weird place, with a tacky pub and lots of strange things. The owners were selling it at the time, they used it for some kind of holiday adventure place. God knows why as it's miserable.

coo.You must have been standing on the outcrop cliff to take those photos. I remember a telephone line reaching out from there to the island. Must be gone now.
It's got it's own diesel generators, huge underground cisterns and water purification.
Once we got on there we realized the disadvantages of being on a miserable concrete and stone island cut off from the world!
