Re-gummed the CPU, the fan is still going haywire. Gonna reset the BIOS, failing that - call in someone smarter than me.

Just buy a new one.chances are the bearings have been disturbed.
I use these in all the systems I build. ( it's big though, you need to check the height and be sure it fits in the case.
