
Keyboard mechanism:
Mechanical - Each key is a seperate switch. They last longer and click when pressed.
Membrane - Rubber sheet with little contacts underneith. Used in most keyboards. Cheaper, lower profile. Not as clicky.
Scisor Keyswitch membrane - It's like membrane, but with some plastic stuff. Laptops use this alot.
