# Couldn't agree more, we seem to be heading back to the mid '80s - '90s
when whatever finger pointing tabloid driven moral bandwagon of choice we're currently on gets used to break the careers of anyone the tabloids dislike. FFS, comedians are MEANT to be irreverent and make light of serious issues, that's their fucking job! I'm fully expecting Mary Whitehouse to be dug up any day now.

I was however rather pleased to see Russel Brand collect an award at the same event, not quite managed to remove him as yet then.

Shall we take bets on who's next? I notice it seems to be English celebs who publicly admit to carefree sexual antics Daily Mail readers might be shocked and secretly jealous of so if the current pattern stays true...?
