Thanks all for awesome replies :)Seems it was at least worth tying small chopsticks to my fingers as to have some indication of where the saber-glow had to go :D

No chopstick poking my brains:D
There's actually a very small split in which I take my finger out of my nose, connected the chopsticks, and then went back to the same position with my hands, with the end of the chopstick sticking in my nose.
Damn, now I'm feeling like a magician telling how he pulled off a corny magic-trick :)
