I've come to the conclusionthat the very best gigs are the ones played in small venues by people who are used to playing to large crowds.

Hmmthough I doubt John Otway is used to large crowds.
Though one of my favorite concerts, when Deerhoof played at The Church, was just such an event.

When I saw David Byrne it was like that.I still smile every time I think about it. It was fucking wonderful.
