I find the larger size one enableyou to make more acurate shapes, especially curves as you can use traditional sketching techniques to get the curves, which I why I got an A3, but then I am a twunt.

I can certainly see advantages to the larger ones, i suppose it'slimited by budget, but also the general size the images you're used to drawing (on paper).
I just happened to obtain an Intuos3 A5 for free and I'm used to drawing small pics on A4 paper...suits me nicely
