Yup!And Apple Contact actually tells you quite succinctly NOT to contact them with requests.
Presumably they're terrified of someone suing them for a cut if they use an idea, which I've never understood, just pick any guy who suggested it, ask them if you can use the idea for a certain sum, pick the one that says yes, use the idea, simple.
I'm sure they could afford a few hundred per good idea and they could correct dumb ass problems like this one if enough folks sent in the same idea.
BTW, just been perusing forums, and it would seem no, you cannot get the backlight to stay on when docked and playing, and no, you cannot point this out to Apple.

Looks likeI got a radio alarm with remote controlled dock for iPods for Xmas BTW, and it would be lovely if you could SEE what you're remote-controlling without having to walk over and pick up the iPod.
