this happened at least 5 years agoI'm pretty sure I remember learning about it on Blue Peter or possibly How 2, which means it might be even longer than that.

Oh yeh, I know it's been like that for ages, when I say 'lately' I mean now, rather than 'it changed recently'just thought it might be news to folks as getting magnets involved with your (not) copper is not that common in this age of magnet unfriendly pocket toys.
