I trust no one who actively seeks a position of power.

# I didn't say I trust nobody.

# Don't piss about, you know what I mean.
It's easy to make sweeping cynical statements because they're meaningless. There are better leaders and worse leaders, use your intelligence to produce better-informed ideas than "they're all the same". Because after Bush we all should see that's not the case.

# Politicians don't do things for the good of the people
they do it for the good of their career/pocket/sex life.

Of course, it's easy to whip the less questioning types into a frenzy with a righteous cause or a worthy catchphrase.

# Are you actually listening to what I'm saying?
Please re-read the above.

# Yes. I disagree with you. I don't think there are "better" or "worse" leaders.
I think there are those you agree more with, and those you don't. One man's meat and all of that.

I'm saying they're all the same - they're leaders. Some say Hitler was a good leader. Some say he was the personification of Satan. The same is said of Bush, Blair, Churchill, Lincoln, Ghandi, etc, etc, etc.
