I keep seeing little wooden school desks with the ink well and the lift up lid on the side of the roadand I find it hard to believe I was ever small enough to fit underneath such a thing.
I also wonder why they are at the side of the road. And I know I grew up in the 80s, but why do all my childhood photos look like the 1970s. And why did my School have ink wells in the desks? Pens had ink in them for at least 50 years before I started there.
