i tried it in black and white as well
if any thing being evil actually made the game harder. and everyone knows that the choice ought to be between the hard good path or the easy evil path.

That's definitely the case in the baldurs gate games, because you get attacked by soldiers everywhere you go if you're evil.
I quite enjoyed being evil in black and white though, it means you can throw boulders and trees at the opposition.

i never got past the 3rd level.
taking my creature away made the whole thing boring. i've got b&w2 set up as my next to play, i'm hoping its better
