# twas a good weekend
was away from the city seeing people which was nice. Took the missus out for foods and things. Saw the inlaws which is also a nice thing to do. Friday night sped down from Edinburgh to Durham to see Arlo Guthrie ROCK the Durham Gala Theatre! He was incredible - I would heartily recommend that anyone (especially b3tans) who has the chance should see him:

Tues 3rd Feb 2009: Wesleyan Methodist Church - Oxford

Fri 6th Feb 2009: The 100 Club - London

treat yourself and have a good night out :)

# Arlo Guthrie?
I saw him at the rythm festival a couple of years ago. He's not so pretty now.

# he's not much to look at
but he was awesomely good and great songs and funny banter - one of the best gigs I've been to in years

# Durham Gala Theatre
... must have been all of 150 people there and I must be been the youngest by about 20 years...

he was incredible though. Didn't sing Alice's Restaurant, but I think that's probably a good thing.

# yeah
can you imagine how much you'd grow to hate a 20 minute song that you have to sing at every gig... urgh.

He did a lot of great songs and some of his dad's stuff and just had a nice chat with the crowd. Must have done 20+ songs.
